Christmas Card Wednesday

Need a card design that you can use for just about anything?  I always like to have a few of those designs up my sleeve, the ones that you can change the colour, change the greeting and it will work for any occasion.  That's why I loved this card that I'd pinned onto my Pinterest Christmas board designed by Jill's Ink.

Here's my version: -

The double sided 'Winter Frost DSP Stack' papers work well for this type of project.  Not too much waste and you get both patterns on one sheet.

One tip I found very useful when cutting the flag ends in the paper strips was to stack them up on top of each other and cut the flag ends at the same time. At least then if they were slightly off centre they'd be consistently off centre.

Remember when sticking card to glimmer paper you need to use stampin' dimensionals or another foam tape as the glimmer paper doesn't have a flat surface for double sided tapes and tape runners like Snail to grip to.

I used: -
Greeting of the Season Stamp Set - 128033
Island Indigo Classic Stampin' Pad - 126986
Island Indigo A4 Cardstock - 124390
Whisper White A4 Cardstock - 106549
Winter Frost Designer Series Paper Stack - 132183
Silver Glimmer Paper - 124005
Regals Candy Dots - 130932
